The Joys of Ocean Cruising
To me, cruising is like dining at a fine restaurant with a tasting menu. You get to easily sample many flavors at once, and then can return for a full serving of those you truly love. A cruise lets you taste far more in a single voyage than would be possible any other way. More importantly, it often lets you visit places you might otherwise never visit.
One of my most memorable cruises was in 1994 where I visited the Great Wall of China and Tiananmen Square, as well as Hong Kong, Korea and Japan. Have you ever watched 'Love is a Many Splendored Thing', the 1955 film starring William Holden and set in Hong Kong and Korea? It was thrilling to visit places like Hong Kong Harbour and Victoria Peak that are featured in the film.
I’ve cruised much of the world, from Russian to the Panama Canal—and everywhere I go, I connect with the captain and ship personnel. These longstanding industry relationships always benefit my clients, allowing me to arrange special perks and personal service, even when I’m not on board.
