LGBTQ Cruise on Exciting New Ship

I have experienced a large number of cruises – more than 40, if I had to guess. I’ve sailed with Royal Caribbean International, Princess Cruises, Norwegian Cruise Line, Oceania Cruises, MSC Cruises, Celebrity Cruises, and many more.

While each ship offers a unique experience, Celebrity Cruises has launched a new ship, The Celebrity Edge that feels to me like it is straight out of the future, and it is amazing.

With help from design icon Nate Berkus, the interiors of this ship are unlike any other on the water today. Staterooms can open up to the water's edge with the touch of a button. Outside of the staterooms, there are innovative spaces such as the Magic Carpet, a venue that changes mood, function, and even its location on the ship. A kind of moving platform suspended alongside the ship, it can serve as a venue for drinks, entertainment or snacks, or a kind of ramp to make it easy to get on and off the tenders that take you to shore (especially convenient for people with limited mobility or in wheelchairs).

Many of the spaces onboard are designed to change as the sun rises and sets, redefining the experience. The-resort like atmosphere will help you relax by day and transition to elegant and high energy spaces in the evening. The ship will be sailing the Caribbean this fall and then head across the Atlantic to offer European itineraries starting in May, 2019.

Looking for a great deal? Set sail from April 21-28, 2019 and be part of a fun and fabulous LGBT group. You’ll be sailing on the Caribbean with a few hundred of your new gay best friends, hosted by R Family! Think of this as "gay-lite" with happy hours, piano bars, LGBT comedians and singers, group excursions, and more. And, the pricing is locked in at almost 50% off current pricing for an Edge Stateroom with Infinite Verandah at $1,726 pp which includes the classic beverage package, prepaid gratuities, unlimited internet or a $150 per person onboard credit.

We’ll begin our journey in gay-friendly Ft Lauderdale and warm up at some exciting Caribbean beach destinations including San Juan, Tortola and St Maarten! Each night, we’ll dine together and swap stories of our daily adventures.  Plus, we’ll offer exclusive entertainment, LGBT hosted dinners and events. The cruise will include a sail-away mixer, LGBT cruise hosts, a welcome party, NYC piano bars, theme nights, group dinners, LGBT comedy, musical performances, late night “Guerrilla Gay Bars”, group shore excursions and exclusive Celebrity Cruise activities.
