My Life in Travel

I have a deep understanding of global destinations and love sharing my insights with clients. Equally important, I understand the level of service that my sophisticated travelers deserve and expect from me. My most important expertise is not just about particular destinations or pre-set levels of luxury; it is getting to know each of my clients as individuals and using my knowledge to tailor every aspect of their travels to their specific expectations and dreams.

If you become my client, I’ll spend quite a bit of time learning all your preferences and drilling down to discover the types of experiences and services you would enjoy. This will enable me to offer you customized options that can streamline your travels, enhance your hotel stays and provide in-depth experiences that you didn’t even know existed.

I’ve worked in the travel industry my whole life and know it inside out. After five years of traveling the world as a flight attendant with United Airlines, I made the switch to travel planning. For about 25 years, I managed on-site travel agencies for Silicon Valley’s largest companies, personally handling the business and leisure travel for the highest levels of top management. Over the course of my career, I have worked at and managed white-glove leisure travel agencies, including one so prestigious that they only accept clients by referral and charge a high annual fee for their services. I frequently liaise with top-tier travel vendors and expert travel agent colleagues. My depth of experience and clout of Protravel International empower me to provide exceptional travel advice and service to my clients.

When you tell me where you’d like to go on your next vacation, selecting flights and hotels is just the start. Do you want to be met at your flight and whisked through customs, or are you comfortable taking a taxi to your hotel. Will you want hard-to-get theater tickets or dinner reservations at the restaurant of the moment or a specialized art guide? Do you want to explore on your own or would you like me to arrange some privileged-access activities? Shall I plan an hour-by-hour itinerary or do you prefer a less structured approach? Once we’ve worked together, I probably won’t even have to ask to know what type of arrangements and experiences will best fit your tastes.
