Corporate Retreats, Party & Event Planner
I discovered my passion for event planning at a young age. I was always the one helping to plan everyone’s birthday parties, and in high school, I would devise mixer-type games and ice-breakers for our get-togethers.
As I moved into the work world, I got into event planning on a larger scale. During my ten years at Sony Music Entertainment, I handled the travel for the company’s music conventions. These were huge events, and I would usually take over a whole hotel. In addition to booking meeting space and sleeping rooms and coordinating all the meals and transportation, I’d plan special events and activities. As part of my leadership and training role, I integrated wellness and team-building components that helped achieve our goals.
I also worked for seven years as a senior travel consultant, event planner, and sales support service manager at Altour International. There, in addition to planning events and trips, I was responsible for improving operations and trouble-shooting interpersonal problems among staff and with clients. That experience taught me a lot about team building.
I’ve translated these skills into arranging corporate retreats for groups ranging from a dozen to several hundred. I handle everything from contracting and negotiating with the hotel to taking care of catering and breakouts and suggesting team building exercises.
I recently planned a team-building retreat for a leadership team of twenty. The CEO wanted them to develop mutual trust so they could better cooperate and work as one. I used fun team-building exercises to demonstrate the value of using their diverse individual approaches to reach a mutual goal and to create a sense of camaraderie. They came away with the understanding that there is no single right way to get things done and improved appreciation for each other’s skills.
Every company has different goals and issues. The approach for a group of lawyers is different from entertainment people. Sometimes I handle the team building elements on my own; in other cases, I feel it’s best to reach out to a particular specialist.
I’ve coordinated several wellness retreats for affinity and friend groups at a farm in Upstate NY. They have cabins, an equestrian area, and a pool, and it is an idyllic setting for a group that wants to get in touch with nature and practice meditation, yoga and other techniques.
I also do wedding and party planning, from contracting and billing to coordinating the food, entertainment, and décor. I enjoy every part of it, from finding the right venue and getting the best value to making sure that everyone has a great time!

The best trip to New York
Family Reunion- The best trip of our lives
We saw the big apple through the eyes of a native. We stayed at the Fifty nyc hotel, Our suit was comfortable & accommodated our family guests for a wonderful get together in the evening, with an amazing view from the balcony, Every event from brunch to dinner, we enjoyed venturing out to see the 911 memorial and going on a boat ride out to see the statue of liberty and the Puerto Rican PRIDE parade was a total blast.
The best part. Not needing to plan, book, or worry about anything.
Thank you for the wonderful memory.
Great experience, everything was great!

Hotel was nice, the rooms were spacious and great views off the balconies.
He was extremely helpful with our weekend itineraries making it possible to see and do everything we wanted.
We even enjoyed a fun time at the National Puerto Rican Day Parade on Fifth Avenue!
What I loved most was his willingness to ease our minds with traveling around the Big Apple.
We never got lost and had ZERO worries!
